Center Day Camp was established in 1948 by the Jewish Community of Greater Portland. Since that first summer campers have been retuning each year to CDC to build friendships, make memories and learn new skills. Over the years Center Day Camp has become known as one of the very best Day Camps in the State of Maine. Campers from all faiths come to CDC to play together under a program that focuses on core Jewish values.

Community: Center Day Camp fosters a strong sense of belonging and connection. Everyone at camp is valued for who they are and respected for what they contribute. Counselors stress kindness, respect, and character in everything that they do. CDC is a thriving thoughtful communty!
