Do I have to be Jewish to attend Center Day Camp? What exposure to Jewish culture will my camper have?
About half of our camp community is Jewish - we welcome all faiths to enjoy the magic of camping. Your camper will
learn Israeli culture through games, dance, art, and Friday afternoon Shabbat (Sabbath) service.

Is there an age limit on certain activities?
There is an age requirement for a few of our activities:
Sailing- 2nd grade and older
Archery- 2nd grade and older
Mt. Biking- 2nd grade and older
All other activities are open to all.
Can we come see camp before the summer?
Absolutely! We have 2 open houses before camp starts: one in May and one in June. If you are not able to make either of these
events then we are happy to give individual tours out at camp. Please call the office to make an appointment.
Will my camper participate in swim lessons?
Swim lessons are a mandatory activity at CDC. All campers will participate in daily swim lessons instructed by American Red Cross
WSI certified staff. All campers also get opportunities to enjoy beautiful Sebago Lake during a group free swim.
Is lunch provided?
Families provide lunch and snacks for their campers. CDC will provide dinner, s'mores, and breakfast on the overnights at camp.
Is transportation available to Center Day Camp?
Yes, we do provide transportation to and from camp. We have bus stops in the following towns: Bridgeton, Cape Elizabeth, Falmouth,
Freeport, Portland, Raymond, Scarborough, Westbrook, Windham. See full bus schedule here.
Are there activities during the summer for families?
We have several events throughout the summer for our campers, families, and friends. We have 2 family days (Sundays) this summer:
time for the whole family to come play out at camp. Meet our wonderful CDC staff, go canoeing, paper mache, play some tennis, watch
our camp theatrical production and enjoy a picnic on the beach!
We also have one Family Overnight during the summer- great opportunity to camp out with the family, make new friends, enjoy s'mores
on the beach, and the beautiful sunset on Sebago.
