"When this year's Center Day Camp calendar arrived in the mail, we looked it over as a family. I asked my daughter if there were
any weeks she wanted to be sure not to miss. She started by saying she definitely wanted to be at both overnights. Then she circled
Carnival. Then the Theater productions. Then the water festival. Certainly Week 9 and Sailing Camp. Finally she realized that
she really couldn't bear to miss a single week of CDC! I feel lucky to have found a camp that she loves so much. In addition to
the unbelievable property and range of activities offered, the counselors are amazing, and there is a strong sense of camp culture

Center Day Camp on Sebago Lake. We attended their open house and left there knowing that CDC was where our boys would spend their

taken lessons and in one summer at camp she learned how to swim! Her favorite activity in the water is to dive for rings

"Our girls have been 8-week campers at CDC for 5 and 3 years respectively, and count down the days each spring until camp begins.
They embrace every activity and friendship that comes with being a CDC camper, including the bus ride back and forth each day.
Even on days when I have been up to the camp to visit or attend an event, I return home in my car alone because the girls want to
ride the bus - they tell me that the camp day starts and ends on the bus with the games and songs and they don't want to miss a
minute of it. The counselors are warm and full of energy and engaged with the kids and the spirit of the camp is infectious.
The overnight stays foster independence and fun and the specials days and all-camp events create camaraderie amongst all

Dear Center Day Camp,
You have literally been like a second home to me since I came on my first day back when I was seven. I can't imagine what
I would be like today if it weren't for this camp. Today is my last day as a camper and I honestly can't believe it's already over.
My closest friends are from this camp, my favorite things to do originate at this camp, and everyone I have ever idolized or thought
of as a role model has been from this wonderful place. But what makes CDC so special is it's articulate perfection. If someone were
to spend one day at camp they would realize that even the things that could be improved, shouldn't be. I'm not sure what camp would've
been like for me if there had been a clean Schwartz building or fun swim lessons. All I know is that I would never change a thing about
the wonderful summers I've had for the past 7 years. And the staff, I can't even begin to explain them. No matter which counselors you
look at, there is one underlying theme. They all care. Every single staff member genuinely cares about the campers and would do anything
for them. So yes, today is the last day I consider myself a camper, but I know that I will never forget this place, or the person it made me.
